New homesites along Onion Creek, a second amenity center called The Bunkhouse, and both production and custom builders.
The Ranch at Caliterra is the newest phase of the Caliterra community in Dripping Springs, set along Onion Creek and mature Hill Country oaks, and it brings a mix of custom homes and new designs from the community's volume builders.
Caliterra was already one of the neighborhoods buyers ask me about by name. The Ranch matters because it gives you a way into that community with a brand new home and a second amenity package, without giving up any of what is already there.

The Ranch introduces a second amenity center called The Bunkhouse, with a lap pool, a fitness center, an open-air event pavilion, a pickleball court, and shaded gathering areas.
Residents also get access to Caliterra's full amenity network, including The Cove resort-style pool, The Grove, The Run dog park, miles of trails, and more than 250 acres of preserved open space.
Two amenity centers in one community is unusual out here. If you have a family that splits between a lap swimmer and a kid who lives at the pool, that is a practical difference, not a marketing one.
Three volume builders are building at The Ranch: David Weekley Homes, Scott Felder Homes, and Drees Homes. Custom homesites are offered through a selected group that includes Alkire Construction, Atlas Custom Homes, and LTB Build + Design.
That is a wide range in one phase, which is good for choice and confusing for pricing. Two homes on the same street can be built to very different standards. Knowing which is which before you commit is most of the work.
Location: 26025 Ranch Road 12, minutes from historic Mercer Street and downtown Dripping Springs.
Best fit: Buyers who want an established, amenity-heavy community with a brand-new home.
Watch for: Model homes have opened. Early phase pricing and incentives usually do not last.
Caliterra is one of the neighborhoods I work in most. If you want a real comparison against Headwaters, Big Sky Ranch, or Belterra, reach out, and I will walk you through it.
I can get you into the model homes, pull the current site plan and lot availability, and give you a straight answer on which builder is the right fit for your budget. Let me know when you want to go.
